Author of ‘The History of the NME’ visited the University of Hertfordshire to talk to history students about his research, as part of a new events programme.
On 17thOctober Pat Long presented his research and answered questions from a group of History lecturers, post-graduates, and other humanities students, following the release of his new book detailing 60 years of New Musical Express (NME) Magazine.
A series of events will be taking place funded by a grant secured by Owen Davies, Professor of Social History, for the School of Humanities. The programme includes talks which are open to other UH Students, and specific skills sessions and research visits which are tailored for history postgraduates.
