Happy New Year 2012!

It’s that time of year again where we look back over the last 12 months, and look forward at what may come in the future. 2012 has been a jam-packed year, with London Olympics, Mayan prophecies and more.

For me the year has been a roller-coaster, and although I’ve spent much more of it in Hospitals then I would have liked, I’m still standing strong and looking forward to what 2013 has to offer. If I’ve learnt one thing this year, it’s that life really is too short, so make the most of the time you have!

This year I successfully finished my first year at University, which brought me more than I could have hoped. Everyone told me that University would be the time of your life, but I never really believed them until I was there. I’ve been lucky enough to meet some amazing people, who I hope will stay in my life for years to come.

I’ve jumped into every opportunity that crossed my path, and had some unforgettable experiences because of it. A massive thank you is deserved by everyone who’s been there for me, through the good and the bad.

2012 also marked the start of my ventures into my future career. For as long as I can remember it’s been my dream to become a journalist. This summer I started my own blog and began writing for the online magazine +Yuppee .

I’ve embraced every chance to write for different publications, and feel like I’m finally getting myself involved where it matters. Expect lots more writing in 2013 as I continue to find my voice and share it with you all.

So please keep reading, I’ve got some exciting things to look forward to next year and I hope there’s some interesting articles to show for it!
Happy New Year!
