The 5th of February marked Time to Talk Day, organised by Time to Change to encourage people to spend five minutes having a conversation about mental health. Participants could submit blogs and log their contributions online, with the hope of reaching over 24 hours worth of conversations. Time to Change well exceeded this goal, reaching over 19 days by midnight.
Throughout the day, a blog was featured each hour. Mine was shown alongside 23 others, all answering the same set of questions and sharing our stories of mental illness. I am incredibly proud to have been a part of such a successful campaign, joining others in the fight to end the stigma and silence surround mental health.
