Gig Review: Bleed from Within

Bleed From Within
Heart of a Coward, Silent Screams and Dripback

@ The Underworld, Camden
Thursday 18th April 2013

The Underworld in Camden was packed full of eager metal fans, awaiting a line-up promising a night full of raucous debauchery. Scottish headliners Bleed From Within returned with their first UK tour in four years. They recently released the album ‘Uprising’ which has built these rising stars a remarkable reputation, evident from the impressive turnout.

First on the bill were the London reared Dripback; who opened the night with a truly destructive style. Starting for such as strong line-up expectations were high, however for me Dripback just didn’t deliver. There was a sense of monotony and predictability which left more to be desired.

Silent Screams stepped up to the stage to liven things up with some melodic metal-core.
